4.0.0 update adds GameCube controller support

The Nintendo Switch 4.0.0. update that launched last week also added support for GameCube controllers, it has been discovered.

You’ll need a Wii U GameCube Adapter in order to use a GameCube controller on your Switch. There might be a couple problems since the GameCube controller has fewer buttons than the Switch’s controllers, but most games should play just fine.
