Nintendo Switch’s hidden gems for May 2018

May was a slower month for Nintendo Switch, although it did see the release of Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. Despite this, there are still some wonderful titles that went overlooked, and the Switch Era team is back again to recommend the Nintendo Switch’s hidden gems for May 2018.

Fairune Collection

From Joshua’s review:

Fairune Collection has a healthy amount of content for its price tag, and the new games guarantee that even veterans of the series have a reason to return. The formula of the games do present some irritating issues, but if you’re looking for a few games to play casually, then this might be the collection for you.

Immortal Redneck

From Jack’s review:

Immortal Redneck is some real good rootin, tootin, shootin fun. When your biggest complaint with a game is that you wish there was more, that should indicate how I fee about it. The variety in weaponry and scrolls is astounding. That does a great job of making the core game stay fun and fresh for a lot longer than you’d expect. At $19.99 if you love old school FPS action you should really check this one out. It’s an awesome game and I think I’m gonna play some more.

Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory

From Joshua’s review:

Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory didn’t capture me at first, but I soon found myself in a glorious rhythm with the game. Utilizing a series of attacks, blocks, decisions, and customization was exhilarating. It also helps that all of these battles were framed around a war where there were no heroes or villains; just people with agendas. All of it is wrapped up in a worthy package that lets you explore both sides of the story to your heart’s content.
