What makes this review sad is that this game has entertained many over many platforms, lots to discover and explore. The problem is with the reviewer, he never mentioned any of the dozens of games in this genre, yet points to Shining the Holy Ark and Etrian Odyssey as examples, neither game is even in the same genre as Heroes of Monkey Tavern, games to compare are Grimrock 1 & 2, Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder, Bloodwych, The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians, The Keep, Ruzar – The Life Stone and a dozen other similar titles on Steam. Only ignorance of these game could produce such a lop-sided review with so little insight in to fans of the type of game.

Seriously 3/10?! This was like 9/10 on STEAM!! 😀 controls are ok, combat is ok, setup is ok, story is simple, bro how old are you? If you read and listen carefully to the narrator you would know how the 4 heroes had no equipment from the start. Lol! And why compare to only 2 games? Duh! Aren’t you excited making your way to an unknown place not knowing what might comes in or follow you behind, it’s all about how you handle fighting 2 enemies at once, you said it’s easy yet your having a hard time playing it. Dude. Go play kiddy games that’s your thing, this is for people who have guts only…
